On or about Monday, June 20th, 2022, around 12:30 in the morning, a serious hit-and-run accident sent a cyclist to the hospital. Representatives from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along North Foster Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were riding their bike along or near North Foster Road. After the initial accident, the vehicle fled the scene. Emergency responders transported the cyclist to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the intersection with Summer Fest Drive.
Police are still trying to track down the driver and vehicle that fled the scene.
