on or about Saturday, June 25th, 2022, around 12:00 in the afternoon a major single-vehicle motorcycle accident left one woman dead and sent a man to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 40 in Oldham County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said 64-year-old Denise Heinrich was killed and 66-year-old Robert Heinrich was injured when the motorcycle they were on allegedly lost control and crashed after a tire blowout along Interstate 40. Emergency responders pronounced Denise Heinrich dead, while Robert Heinrich was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about five miles west of the town of Vega.
