Details:
On or about Thursday, October 19th, 2020, around 5:40 in the evening, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent three people to the hospital. State Patrol said the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 30 and 620th Avenue in Danville Township, Minnesota.
Officers said 18-year-old Kahlan Benning and 18-year-old Drake McCarthy were in a northbound pickup truck that was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer at the intersection. Authorities identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as 70-year-old Mark Miller, who was traveling westbound on Highway 30 at the time of the collision.
Paramedics transported Miller, McCarthy, and Benning to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
Google Maps shows Danville Township is about 106 miles south of Minneapolis.
State Police assisted deputies from the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
