Details:
On or about Sunday, February 27th, 2022, around 2:43 in the afternoon, an accident between a bus and a passenger vehicle sent eight individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Interstate 35 service road and East 11th Street in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said six adults and two children were injured when a passenger vehicle and a METRO bus collided under unspecified conditions at the intersection of the Interstate 35 service road and East 11th Street. Paramedics transported three adults and two children from the passenger vehicle and three people from the bus to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of downtown Austin.
Officials are still investigating.
