On or about Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, around 2:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a delivery van sent a 55-year-old Fargo man to the hospital. Investigators said the accident was reported along Interstate 29 just outside Grandin, North Dakota.
Officials from the North Dakota Highway Patrol said 55-year-old Eric Anderson was injured when the delivery van he was driving allegedly struck an 18-wheeler while he was attempting to pass the big rig. After the initial collision, the delivery van rolled. Emergency responders transported Anderson to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 29 runs north and south, with the scene of the accident about a mile north of Grandin.
State Police assisted after the accident.
