Details:
Evelyn Davis, Juan Beltran Sanchez and three other unidentified people were killed in a fiery multi-vehicle collision on westbound I-40 near Williams, AZ. Officials from the Arizona Department of Public Safety report the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
It began after one semi jackknifed, followed by another, which resulted in multiple vehicles colliding with and become trapped beneath the semis. One semi-truck caught fire, which spread to almost all other vehicles and burned for nearly 20 hours.
On Monday, March 24, investigators confirmed more human remains had been found in the wreckage of the accident. Authorities believe they belong to three Korean women who were reported missing while travelling through Arizona. Officials are currently working to confirm the identity of the remains.
Investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
