Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 30-year-old woman dead. Representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 31 and Division Road in Tipton County, Indiana.
Authorities from the Indiana State Police said 30-year-old Evette Yoder was killed when a tractor-trailer driven by 22-year-old Bruce Patterson allegedly ran a red light and struck the Honda Civic Yoder was driving. Emergency responders pronounced Yoder dead of her injuries a short time after the collision.
Officials have since charged Bruce Patterson with reckless homicide in connection with the collision.
According to Google Maps, Tipton County is about 48 miles north of downtown Indianapolis.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
