On or about Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent five people to the hospital. Officials from the NYSP said the accident was reported along the New England Thruway in The Bronx, New York.
Representatives from the New York State Police said five as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances while driving along the New England Thruway. Paramedics transported five people from the scene to a nearby hospital, but officials did not specify which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Exit 12.
