On or about Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, a serious accident between a box truck and a pickup truck sent four individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Dakota County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Highway 77 in Dakota City, Nebraska.
Troopers from the Nebraska State Police said four as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a box truck and a pickup truck collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 77. Officials said the accident may have started when one of the vehicles pulled into the path of the other, but did not specify which vehicle may have pulled out. Paramedics transported one person from the box truck and three individuals from the pickup truck to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
