On or about Monday, March 15th, 2021, around 1:30 in the afternoon, an accident between two cars and a bus sent four people to the hospital. Deputies from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened in the 6200 block of MacCorkle Avenue in Jefferson, West Virginia.
Officers said four as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when two cars and a bus collided in a chain-reaction in the eastbound lanes. Police did not speculate on how the accident may have started. Emergency responders transported four people to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
Authorities had to close all of the eastbound lanes of MacCorckle Avenue in order to investigate the accident and tend to the scene.
Police hope to release more information as soon as it becomes available.
