Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer left a 33-year-old man dead. Authorities from the MSHP said the accident was reported along Highway 65 in Springfield, Missouri.
Troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said 33-year-old Harrison Charlesworth was killed when he was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic on Highway 65. Emergency responders rushed Charlesworth to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the exchange with Battlefield Road.
Police are still examining the accident.
