On or about Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, around 8:25 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent a 64-year-old man to the hospital. Authorities from the MSHP said the accident was reported along Highway 19 in Oregon County, Missouri.
Law enforcement representatives said 64-year-old James Owen was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the pickup truck he was driving as the 18-wheeler was turning. Emergency responders transported Owen to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about four miles north of Thayer.
