Details:
51-Year-Old James M. Taggart was injured in a crash involving three semi-truck and a pickup while driving along I-70 westbound in Hopewell Township, OH. Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol say the accident too place around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
Traffic had been stopped due to a previous accident when Taggart collided with the rear of a Mack truck driven by Eugeniu Sidorcenco, which then collided with a Dodge Ram driven by Jennifer Paisley. Paisley’s vehicle then struck a disabled vehicle, forcing her vehicle onto its side. After this, Taggart’s Kenworth then struck a second vehicle, a 2024 Peterbilt driven by Wayla Brown Williams.
Taggart was transported to Genesis Hospital for treatment, while Paisley was treated at the scene. He was cited for failure to maintain distance.
