On or about Sunday, April 4th, 2021, around 9:48 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a disabled car claimed the life of a 44-year-old pedestrian. Authorities from the OSHP said the accident was reported on the eastbound side of Highway 30 just outside Middle Point in Van Wert County, Ohio.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said 44-year-old Jeffery Brown was killed when a tractor-trailer driven by Glen Anderson allegedly struck him and his disabled vehicle on the eastbound shoulder of the highway. Emergency responders pronounced Brown dead of his injuries when they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 30 runs east and west just north of Middle Point, which is about 119 miles northwest of Columbus.
