Details:
On or about Sunday, October 11th, 2020, around 10:30 at night, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer claimed the lives of two people. Deputies said the accident happened at the intersection of Richey Road and FM 1960 in Harris County, Texas.
Authorities said Jonathan Davis and Pershella Howard were killed when the car they were in collided with a tractor-trailer that was allegedly attempting a U-turn, blocking the roadway. Both Davis and Howard succumbed to their injuries a short time after the collision. Police did not mention any injuries sustained by the truck driver.
Taking a look at the intersection on Google Maps shows that FM 1960 is six lanes wide, which run east and west, while Richey Road is for lanes that run north and south. The intersection is located in far north Houston near Westfield.
