On or about Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, around 5:00 in the evening, a serious single-vehicle car accident claimed the life of a 28-year-old Burleson man. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported in the 4400 block of East Loop 820 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Officers from the Fort Worth Police Department said 28-year-old Jonathan Watkins was killed when the vehicle he was in allegedly lost control and rolled while driving down East Loop 820. Emergency responders pronounced Watkins dead of the injuries he sustained when he was ejected from the vehicle in the crash. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southwest side of Fort Worth.
Police are still investigating.
