Details:
On or about Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, around 7:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV sent three individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Route 4 in Strong, Maine.
Officials from the Maine State Police said 23-year-old Kaitlyn Adams and 25-year-old Lucas Newell were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly crossed over the center line of Route 4 and struck the Jeep they were in. Paramedics transported Adams and Newell to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident. Police identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as 59-year-old Rene Gagnon, who was also transported to a nearby hospital.
According to Google Maps, Route 4 cuts north and south through Strong, which is about 85 miles west of Bangor.
Police are still investigating.
