On or about Monday, October 12th, 2020, around 5:45 in the morning, a tractor-trailer accident with an SUV claimed the life of a 32-year-old woman. The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 377 and Broadway Street in Byng, Oklahoma.
Law enforcement spokespeople said that 32-year-old Katherine Hall was killed when the SUV she was driving allegedly failed to yield at the intersection and was hit by an 18-wheeler. Emergency responders pronounced Hall dead of her injuries at the scene. The driver and a passenger of the tractor-trailer were treated for unknown injuries at a nearby hospital.
Google Streetview shows Highway 377 as a four lane thoroughfare separated by a wide, grassy median. The intersection with Broadway Street is a two-way stop.
