On or about Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021, around 1:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 24-year-old Hopkinsville woman dead. Troopers from the KSP said the accident was reported in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 24 in Marshall County, Kentucky.
Police spokespeople said 24-year-old Kayln Nicole Williams was killed when the car she was driving allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that had slowed for another semi truck with an oversized load. Emergency responders pronounced Williams dead of her injuries after the collision. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the crash.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 24 cuts east and west through Marshall County.
Police are still investigating.
