On or about Monday, January 25th, 2021, around 5:50 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a 58-year-old Meadville woman dead. Troopers from the State Police said the accident happened along Fredonia Road in Perry Township, Pennsylvania.
Deputies from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office said 58-year-old Linda Peterson was killed when her car and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown conditions. Peterson was pronounced dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident a short time after paramedics arrived. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary statement.
According to Google Maps, Perry Township is located roughly 69 miles northwest of the greater Philadelphia area.
Police are still investigating the accident.
