Linda Rochelle Walton Dixon was killed in a three vehicle collision including a semi-truck on Highway 24 in Burke County near Waynesboro, GA. Georgia State Patrol reports the crash happened the morning of Friday, January 31, 2025, when a semi-truck struck the rear bumper of a Chevy Colorado. The Colorado was then forced into the opposite lane of traffic, where it collided with the Dodge Dart being driven by Dixon, colliding head-on. Dixon was pronounced dead at the scene, and the investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
