Lonnie Lynn Johnson was killed after being struck by a semi-truck on FM 287 shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The Texas Highway Patrol reports that Johnson pulled onto FM 287 from a private driveway and the semi-truck being driven by Delbert Ray Clinard was unable to slow down in time, colliding with Johnson, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is currently under investigation.
