On or about Thursday, October 15th, 2020, around 11:17 in the morning, an accident between an 18-wheeler and a dump truck claimed the life of a 35-year-old man from Vevay, Indiana. The accident happened at the intersection of U.S. 42 and U.S. 127 in Warsaw, Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police said that 35-year-old Marcus A. Galbreath was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly turned into his path at the intersection and struck the dump truck he was driving. Officials pronounced Galbreath dead from his injuries at the scene of the accident.
Inspecting the scene of the accident on Google Streetview shows that the exchange of U.S. 42 and U.S. 127 is a “Y” intersection. Highway 127 has a stop sign, while Highway 42 does not. Warsaw is located about 65 miles northeast of Louisville.
