On or about Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, around 7:30 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left one man dead and sent another to the hospital. Officials from the ASP said the accident happened along Highway 274 in rural Calhoun County, Arkansas.
Investigators said 34-year-old Murphy Aaron Jr. was killed when the vehicle he was driving allegedly crossed over the center line of the highway and struck a tractor-trailer driven by 43-year-old Kristopher Emory. Paramedics pronounced Murphy Aaron Jr. dead of his injuries a short time after the accident, while Emory was taken to Medical Center of South Arkansas with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Calhoun County is situated about 97 miles south of Little Rock.
