Details:
On or about Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020, around 5:40 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left two men dead and sent two other people to the hospital. ALEA Troopers said the accident happened on Highway 69 about 12 miles north of Linden, Alabama.
Police have said Nelson Munoz and Jose Villadomez were killed when the Ford Expedition they were in collided with a tractor-trailer driven by Marlon Jones under unspecified conditions. Munoz and Villadomez were pronounced dead a short time after the crash. Jones did not report injuries after the crash.
Google Streetview shows Highway 69 as two lanes that run north and south that branches off of Highway 43 just outside Linden. Linden is situated about 71 miles south of Tuscaloosa.
Multiple agencies are assisting in the accident investigation.
