On or about Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, around 8:25 at night, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left a 23 year-old Batesville man dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported at the intersection of State Highway 69 and South Vaughn Street in Sulphur Rock, Arkansas.
Arkansas State Police said 23-year-old Nicholas Warner was killed when he allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of South Vaughn Street and Highway 69. Warner was allegedly travelling on South Vaughn Street when his Nissan Xterra was hit by a southbound tractor-trailer on Highway 69. Warner was pronounced dead a short time after the accident. Officials indicated it was raining at the time of the crash.
According to Google Maps, Sulphur Rock is situated about 101 miles northeast of Little Rock.
