On or about Tuesday, September 14th, 2021, around 2:32 in the afternoon, an accident between two school buses sent a 64-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the NJSP said the accident was reported along Mountain Avenue in Warren, New Jersey.
Officials from the area said 64-year-old Olrich Etienne was injured when the school bus he was driving was allegedly struck by another school bus when that bus lost at least one tire while driving down Mountain Avenue. Emergency responders treated Etienne for lacerations following the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their initial report on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Mountain Avenue runs east and west through Warren, which is about 24 miles west of downtown Newark.
Police are still investigating.
