On or about Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020, a collision between a pickup truck and a cement truck sent one man to the hospital in critical condition. Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident happened on Highway 242 near FM 1314 in Montgomery County, Texas.
Officers said an as-of-yet unidentified man was injured when his Ford F-150 was allegedly broadsided by a cement truck while he was attempting a U-turn from the westbound lanes to the eastbound lanes. Paramedics rushed the driver of the pickup truck to a nearby hospital where he was last listed in critical condition.
Examining Highway 242 on Google Streetview shows a two-lane roadway that runs east and west. The area is located about 40 miles north of Houston.
