On or about Thursday, June 30th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, a serious garbage truck accident sent one individual to the hospital. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along Highway 23 in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Authorities from the Minnesota State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a garbage truck allegedly struck a railroad bridge with it’s rear assembly elevated. Emergency responders transported one person from the scene, but police did not specify if they were in the garbage truck, or if they were in another unmentioned vehicle at the time of the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of St. Cloud.
