On or about April 26th, 2022, around 6:35 in the evening, a hit-and-run accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Ley Road in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by an SUV as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Ley Road. After the initial accident, the SUV fled the scene. Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northeast side of Houston.
Police are still looking for the driver and SUV that fled the scene of the incident.
