On or about Wednesday, April 7th, 2021, around 6:19 in the evening, an accident between a bus and a cyclist sent one individual to the hospital. Officials from the CHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Santa Teresa Street and Lomita Drive in Palo Alto, California.
Highway Patrol officials said one as-of-yet unidentified cyclist was seriously injured when they were allegedly struck by a Marguerite bus. Police did not indicate where the cyclist was riding at the time of the accident. No other vehicles were mentioned by officers in their preliminary report.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Lomita Drive and Santa Teresa Street is situated on the campus of Stanford University.
