Details:
On or about Sunday, October 25th, 2020, an accident between a tow truck and a tractor-trailer sent a woman to the hospital with serious injuries. Officers said the accident happened on the Harrisburg Expressway in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
State Troopers said that a woman was seriously hurt when the tow truck she was sitting in was hit by a car that was allegedly struck by an 18-wheeler that lost control and crashed into the scene of a previous accident. First responders had to cut the woman from the tow truck before she was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer reported minor injuries.
Examining the Harrisburg Expressway on Google Street View shows a four lane highway with a concrete barrier dividing east and westbound traffic. Camp Hill is seated just west of Harrisburg.
Pennsylvania State Police are aiding in the accident investigation.
