On or about Monday, February 21st, 2022, around 7:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a tow truck driver sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the OSHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Route 7 and Interstate 470 in Belmont County, Ohio.
Representatives from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified tow truck driver was injured when he was allegedly pinned between his tow truck and a disabled tractor-trailer as he was assisting roadside. Paramedics transported the tow truck driver to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Belmont County is about 120 miles east of Columbus.
Police are still investigating the accident.
