Details:
On or about Tuesday, July 13th, 2021, around 6:00 in the evening, an accident between a tow truck and an SUV sent a 24-year-old woman to the hospital. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Highway 63 just outside Jasper, Texas.
Police from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified 24-year-old woman was injured when the Ford Edge SUV she was driving allegedly veered over the center line and struck a heavy-duty tow truck. Paramedics transported the driver of the SUV to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 63 runs east and west through Jasper County, which is situated about 135 miles northeast of downtown Houston.
Police are still investigating the incident.
