On or about Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, around 3:10 in the afternoon, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer sent one man to the hospital in a helicopter. California Highway Patrol said the accident took place at the intersection of Highway 365 and Bear Valley Road in Victorville, California.
Police said an as-of-yet unidentified man was seriously injured when his Honda Civic was hit by a tractor-trailer that allegedly ran a stop light. Emergency responders cut the victim from the wreckage and airlifted him to the hospital. No other injuries were reported after the accident.
Looking at the intersection on Google Streetview shows Highway 395 is four lanes that run north and south, while Bear Valley Road is also two lanes that run east and west. The intersection is governed by a stoplight. Victorville is located about 82 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still investigating.
