Details:
On or about Thursday, February 4th, 2021, around 9:00 in the morning, an accident between an 18-wheeler and a detached trailer sent one man to the hospital. Representatives from the DPS said the accident happened across the north and southbound lanes of Highway 75 in Denison, Texas.
Authorities said a trailer allegedly detached from a northbound tractor-trailer and crossed into the southbound lanes. A southbound 18-wheeler struck the trailer and crashed off the side of the road. Paramedics transported the driver of the 18-wheeler to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Google Streetview shows Highway 75 is four lanes, with a wide, grassy median dividing north and southbound traffic. Denison is about 75 miles north of Dallas, according to Google Maps.
Texas DPS is still investigating the accident.
