On or about Tuesday, December 15th, 2020, around 1:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent one person to the hospital. State Patrol representatives said the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 77 and Highway 64 in Saunders County, Nebraska.
Police from the area indicated one unidentified person was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck a pickup truck, splitting the pickup’s bed from the cab. Paramedics transported the driver of the pickup truck to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. The driver of the 18-wheeler was unhurt in the collision.
Looking at the intersection on Google Maps, Highway 77 is two lanes that run north and south, while Highway 64 is two lanes that run east and west. According to Google Streetview, only Highway 64 has a stop sign.
