On or about Thursday, November 4th, 2021, around 6:00 in the morning, a major chain-reaction accident between three tractor-trailers and three passenger vehicles left at least one person injured. Officials from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 35 near the exchange with Frankford Road in Carrollton, Texas.
Police said at least one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when three tractor-trailers and three vehicles collided in a chain-reaction collision along northbound I-35. Officials did not elaborate as to how the accident may have started off. Emergency responders treated one person for injuries of an unknown nature or severity stemming from the crash.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 35 runs north and south through Carrollton, which is about 23 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating the accident.
