Details:
On or about Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV sent at least one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Houston Harte Frontage Road in San Angelo, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives said at least one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the SUV they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving at or near the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Houston Harte Frontage Road. After the initial collision, the SUV rolled to one side in the middle of the roadway. Paramedics transported one person in the SUV to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Houston Harte Frontage Road is situated on the western edge of San Angelo.
Police are still investigating.
