On or about Thursday, October 15th, 2020, around 10:10 in the morning, a motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital after being struck by metal road debris. The accident happened somewhere in the 14000 block of the North Freeway in Fort Worth, Texas.
Deputies from Tarrant County said that an as-of-yet unidentified motorcyclist was struck in the head by a piece of metal that may have been run over and launched by a tractor-trailer. Paramedics airlifted the victim to John Peter Smith Hospital with a head injury. He was last reported in critical condition.
Google Maps shows that North Freeway flanks the northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 35, and is three lanes in either direction in the far northern part of Fort Worth.
The investigation into the accident is still underway.
