On or about Sunday, April 4th, 2021, around 3:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a car and a box truck sent a 52-year-old man to the hospital. Officers from the SDPD said the accident happened in the 9900 block of Pomerado Road in San Diego, California.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified 52-year-old man was injured when his Honda Accord was allegedly struck by a box truck while turning from eastbound Pomerado Road. Paramedics transported the driver of the Accord to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
The 9900 block of Pomerado Road is situated in the Miramar area of San Diego, according to Google Maps.
Police are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
