On or about Tuesday, March 30th, 2021, around 4:00 in the afternoon, an accident between several cars and a pickup truck towing a trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Investigators said the accident was reported in 500 block of Route 100 in Colebrookdale Township in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a pickup truck towing a trailer and four other vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident. One car in the accident wound up pinned beneath the pickup truck. Paramedics transported one individual from the pinned car to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Colebrookdale Township is situated about 50 miles northwest of downtown Philadelphia.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene of the incident.
