On or about Saturday, March 19th, 2022, around 9:00 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a pedestrian left a 73-year-old man dead. Officers from the NYPD said the accident was reported along Central Avenue not far from the intersection with Nameoke Avenue in Queens, New York.
Law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet 73-year-old pedestrian in a wheelchair was killed when he was allegedly hit by a box truck driven by Freddy Saquisili along Central Avenue. Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
Officials have alleged Saquisili was unlicensed at time of the accident.
