On or about Saturday, May 21st, 2022, around 2:30 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one person dead. Authorities from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of Ferguson Road and Lakeland Drive in Dallas, Texas.
Officers from the Dallas Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and slammed into a pole a short distance off the roadway. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from White Rock Lake.
Police are still working to pin down what happened in the accident.
