On or about Tuesday, April 26th, 2022, around 4:45 in the morning, a major single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the Gulf Freeway in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the road and rolled along the Gulf Freeway. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the vehicle dead of their injuries at the scene of the crash. A passenger in the vehicle was uninjured.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the exchange with Scarsdale Boulevard.
Police are still investigating the accident.
