Details:
On or about Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, around 6:00 in the evening, an accident between a flatbed tow truck, a pickup truck, and a car left one person dead and sent a child to the hospital. Deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Sonyea Road in Mount Morris, New York.
Officers said one as-of-yet unidentified man was killed and a child was injured when a flatbed tow truck allegedly struck their car after it rear-ended a pickup truck. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the car dead, while a child was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the collision. Police did not mention if the driver of the pickup truck was injured.
According to Google Maps, Mount Morris is situated about 42 miles south of downtown Rochester.
Authorities are still investigating.
