Details:
On or about Thursday, April 15th, 2021, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a dump truck and an SUV left one person dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident happened along Highway 95 at Highway 12E in Yuma, Arizona.
Arizona State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when their SUV was allegedly T-boned by a dump truck. Both vehicles burst into flames following the initial collision. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the SUV dead at the scene of the accident.
Yuma is situated a short distance north of the border with Mexico, about 184 miles southwest of Phoenix.
Police are still investigating the accident.
