On or about Friday, April 15th, 2022, around 12:00 in the morning, a serious two-vehicle car accident left one person dead and resulted in charges for another. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the North Freeway in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were driving allegedly hit the back of another car and rolled. The driver of the vehicle was ejected as the car rolled. Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries
The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended was arrested for DWI after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is near Rankin Road on the north side of Houston.
Multiple agencies are investigating.
