Details:
On or about Wednesday, July 7th, 2021, around 1:28 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck towing a trailer and a car left one person dead and sent another to the hospital. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along Highway 52 near the exchange with Yellow Bank Road in Franklin County, Indiana.
Investigators from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when a pickup truck towing a trailer allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 52 when it slammed into a car in the oncoming lanes. Emergency responders pronounced one person in the car dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 52 runs east and west through Franklin County, which is about 40 miles northwest of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.
Authorities are still examining the cause of the incident.
