On or about Monday, January 25th, 2021, around 3:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a mobile crane and a pedestrian left one person dead. Law enforcement sources said the accident happened at 120 Tower Street in Channelview, Texas.
Local law enforcement said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when they were allegedly run over by a mobile crane at an equipment rental business. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, Channelview is located roughly 16 miles east of downtown Houston.
